SYDNEY WILBERTON

SYDNEY WILBERTON: Sydney Wilberton earned her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco with a concentrated study in Work Law. While attending law school, she was a staff editor on the Hastings Gender and the Law Journal. Additionally, she received both the Dean's Scholarship and the Legal Education Opportunity Program for Diversity & Adversity Scholarship during all three years of law school. Prior to joining ILG Legal Office, Sydney worked with the non-profit "Legal Aid At Work" in the Worker's Rights Clinic, providing legal advice to low-income workers. She has also worked with the California Department of Labor's Employee Benefit Security Administration evaluating ERISA plan compliance. Sydney is passionate about gender equity and LGBTQ rights issues, and holds one of her Bachelor's Degrees in Feminist Studies. This passion led her to conduct research on gender equity and politics under a leading published author at the forefront of the field of gender rights and advocacy. In her free time, Sydney enjoys hiking, reading, and going to the beach.
